Rate Adjustments

Add 2.00% for units over 8 years.
84 month term on current and previous year models only with $20k
minimum loan amount and a maximum of 5,000 miles to be
considered new.
Exceptions to guidelines may cause rates and terms to change.

Program Guidelines

Membership is required.
Rates determined by highest applicant’s credit score.
Max PTI not to exceed 20%, first-time buyers not to exceed 15%.
All income must be verifiable below 640 credit score and greater than
$75k with two paystubs in the last 30 days. Self-employed must provide
2 years complete tax returns.
BK/Foreclosure/Short Sale/Repossession must be >36 months in past.
POA, Straw Purchases, Trust Accounts, and Businesses not eligible.
No commercial vehicles, loans to be used for commercial purposes,
lemon law vehicles, hail damaged, salvaged; branded or reconditioned
titles will be considered.
120 day charge back.

Membership Eligibility

Vehicle Valuation

LTV includes tax, title, and license based on invoice or Retail NADA.

Maximum GAP

Up to $1,000.00.

Ancillary Product Cancellation

Ancillary product cancellation check must be remitted to lender.

Title & Insurance

Buyer requires full insurance coverage, including Comprehensive and
Collision coverage with a maximum deductible of $1,000.00.

Indirect Lending Checklist

Contract Funding Packages must include:

  • If New Member:
    • SPFCU Membership Application*
    • Initial $10.00 deposit
    • Copy of Photo ID
  • All Members:
    • SPFCU Promise to Insure form completed and signed
    • Credit Application signed by all borrowers
    • Direct Pay Form* if payment coming from another financial institution
    • Contract signed by all borrowers and dealer
    • Purchase Agreement and/or Title Application with SPFCU listed as Lien Holder
    • SPFCU Notice to Co-Signer by Guarantor, if required
    • SPFCU approval documentation
    • Credit Score Disclosures (if applicable)
    • Copy of NADA valuation print-out (used vehicles only)
    • Copy of invoice (new vehicles only)
    • Copies of contract for Warranty, GAP, etc.
